Which seaworld is bigger

Please ask any questions as I am a huge SeaWorld fan and love all the parks. Its worth a visit to Orlando. You will be so glad you went. When are you planning on going?

Thank you so much! That is very helpful. We are going November I think that gives us plenty of time to take a Sea World day. I just wanted opinions from someone that could compare San Antonio vs Orlando and you have done that and helped me make up my mind that Orlando is worth checking out.

Joined Oct 12, Both parks also have fireworks in the summer, too, when weather permits. The exhibits at both parks are similar, though the exact species at each one vary somewhat. There is an abundance of sea lions, dolphins, orcas, and sharks in various locations at each park. Both locations have a cold-water animal exhibit featuring beluga whales and walruses, as well as underwater tunnels where you can get an up-close look at various animals.

There are also exhibits that focus on animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts at each location. The turtle exhibit at the Orlando location is supplemented by the Turtle Trek theatre, which adds incredible video footage of turtles in their natural habitat. For an extra fee, both parks offer a selection of educational behind-the-scenes tours that give you a closer look at the animals and their habitats. Both parks now have a Sesame Street character area, which features character meet-and-greets that small children will love, and restaurants next to the orca enclosures.

The Orlando location also has a restaurant next to the shark tank, so you can watch enjoy an underwater view of the sharks while you dine. In addition to the regular animal tours, both parks offer great day camps and sleepovers for school-age children.

The San Diego location also has weeklong sleepaway camps for students in grades ! While the day camps are multi-day experiences that are better for locals, the sleepaway camps can be a great experience for serious animal enthusiasts from across the country. Pets Ahoy is an indoor performance, making it a great option for anyone who needs a break from the sun.

Another, more recent way the park distinguishes itself is by having weekend events for its various guests, particularly its annual passholders, in order to give them a reason to come back week after week throughout the whole year. Since these will be the first to be conducted in a post-coronavirus world, the park will obviously enact certain precautions to try and maintain safety while still allowing guests to observe the usually-behind-closed-doors treatments and practices that it applies to its animals: capacity will be limited, and social distancing will be enacted.

What, exactly, will be on-hand for attendees? I like Busch Gardens Tampa better because they've got a better and more varied coaster lineup, but I will concede that for those less into coasters and looking for a more well-rounded experience SeaWorld Orlando is probably the better park. I'm also going to disagree with the notion that the parks are simply add-ons to a Disney or Universal vacation, and I personally couldn't ever see myself doing a Florida trip that doesn't include at least one of the two.

As a matter of fact, my tentative plan for the next Orlando trip is 3 days at Disney, 1 at Universal, 1 at SeaWorld, 1 at Busch Gardens, and 1 non-park day, so I'm spending a third of the park time at the SeaWorld chain and more time there than Universal. As for brands as a whole, I'd say either Busch Gardens Park can hold it's own against any other park in the US, and actually compare favorably to any single park at WDW.

The SeaWorld parks aren't quite as strong as they are more animal parks with rides than full-fledged theme parks though that has certainly changed in recent years , but still provide a great day out for animal lovers and thrill seekers alike. This summer was going to be 2 days at BGT, 2 at Adventure Island along with a couple beach day, while hitting Uni for 1 or 2 on the way home. Unfortunately that does not look possible now. Even if open I'd rather wait a year and experience when they are Hopefully back to "Normal"!

This is a tough one. Sea World has three coasters that are arguably as good of better than anything BGT has. Kraken is better than the comparable Kumba, while Manta might be the best coaster in all of Florida. Mako is also solid, though I'd put it in the same tier as Montu and Sheikra.

Without knowing how good Iron Gwazi will be, but considering RMC's track record, BGT most likely will be adding one of the 10 best coasters in the world when the hybrid opens later this year.

Sea World has a slight edge on shows and dark rides, which are non-existent now in BGT didn't used to be that way with a 4-D theater and motion simulator in Tampa , but BGT has a amazing Serengeti Plain and other animal habitats and attractions that top pretty much everything SW has. So, with the main attractions pretty much being a wash, it comes down to those smaller attractions and flat rides, which is where BGT clinches it for me.

Sea World just doesn't have a lot of flat rides aside for kiddie ones.
